Information involved
When you contact us: your email address, name if supplied, order reference, message and files you choose to send. Please remove credentials, full payment-card details, sensitive personal information and private client material that is unnecessary for the request.
When you buy through Gumroad: Gumroad processes checkout, payment, delivery and transaction information. It may make purchase/contact information and transaction status available to the supplier for fulfilment, support and dispute handling. See Gumroad's privacy policy; do not send payment credentials to our support email.
When you browse: your browser sends technical information such as IP address, requested resource, time and browser information to the website hosting infrastructure to deliver and protect the pages. Hosting is provided using Vercel. Provider processing and retention depend on its role and applicable service arrangements; see Vercel privacy information.
Preferences in your browser: the current Motion Lab page stores motion-paused/running and hero-video mute preferences locally in your browser. These are page-function preferences, not an assertion that a purchase is anonymous. You can clear or block local site storage in your browser; the page may then forget those choices.
Campaign links: if you follow a Gumroad campaign link, Gumroad may record link visits and attribute purchases to that source under its platform practices. Its checkout can use cookies and similar technologies. This notice does not promise cookie-free checkout, anonymous analytics or that all provider tracking stops when you close our page.
Analytics and advertising choices
Open Privacy choices on any marketing page to change this browser's separate analytics and advertising choices or opt out of advertising sharing. Rejecting advertising does not prevent browsing, watching examples or purchasing. If Global Privacy Control is enabled, both optional services stay off. Contact support@makevideoskill.com (alternate cpglobaldynamics@gmail.com) for privacy requests. These controls do not change the separate settings of Gumroad, Meta or PostHog. Optional website analytics
If you enable Analytics · PostHog in Privacy choices, we use PostHog's US Cloud service to understand which of our four products people view, which registered demos they deliberately play and watch, and which Gumroad buy links they choose. We send controlled product, video, format, placement and campaign labels, an event time and a random browser-session identifier. We do not send raw page queries, URL fragments, raw referrers, advertising click identifiers, form values, project files, names, email addresses or phone numbers in our analytics events. We do not identify customer accounts or create personal profiles. Autocapture, session replay, heatmaps, surveys and error recording are off.
PostHog necessarily processes connection information, including an IP address, to receive a request. Our project is configured to discard stored client IP data; our manual events also request no GeoIP enrichment. These controls do not make the event data anonymous or remove all provider processing. PostHog's privacy notice and privacy documentation explain its role and controls. We use the events to improve product information and demonstrations, review them for those purposes and remove or de-identify them when no longer needed, subject to applicable legal duties.
After analytics permission, a random analytics identifier is stored for the current browser tab using session storage. Our separate analytics and advertising choices are remembered for up to 180 days. Clearing site storage resets those choices. Analytics permission does not allow advertising, and advertising permission does not allow analytics. Neither service is loaded through this integration before its own permission. Legal, support and creative-editing pages are not measured by this integration. The public Character Story Studio landing page and its registered demos are included.
Advertising measurement is optional and separate from analytics. If you enable Advertising · Meta Pixel and save your choices, we use Meta Pixel to share page visits and clicks on registered Gumroad buy links with Meta to measure and improve advertising. A buy-link click is not a confirmed purchase. Meta may receive your IP address, browser/device details, cookies, page/referrer information, permitted campaign/ad-click identifiers in marketing links and event details, and may combine this with information it holds to personalize and deliver ads. Our manual events do not add your name, email address, phone number or local project files. Automatic advanced matching and automatic events are disabled.
You can browse, watch and purchase with both choices off. Use Privacy choices on the marketing pages to reject either service or withdraw permission. We honor a browser's Global Privacy Control signal by keeping both off and remembering a denial, so turning the signal off does not silently restore an old grant. Turning off a loaded service stops new events, clears accessible tracking storage and reloads the page to unload it. This cannot retract completed requests or delete information a provider has already received. Contact us for privacy requests. This optional measurement is shared across the MakeVideoSkill marketing website. Read the shared website advertising notice. It does not change the separate Motion Lab purchase, license or refund terms.
Purposes and recipients
Information is used as needed to answer questions, identify a purchase, facilitate access to purchased files, investigate faults, prevent misuse, handle disputes, maintain security and comply with applicable obligations. Relevant information may be handled by the checkout/delivery provider (Gumroad), hosting provider (Vercel), email provider (Google/Gmail), service providers needed for the request, and authorities or professional advisers where lawfully necessary. We do not need your password or full card number to help with a normal product query.
Sending a support request does not itself subscribe you to marketing. Any separate marketing must use its applicable notice, legal basis and opt-out process. Provider and social-platform practices are separate; see Google's privacy policy for the email service.
Retention and requests
We retain information only for the period needed to fulfil the request, provide reasonably expected product access/support, meet an applicable recordkeeping obligation or resolve a dispute/legal claim. The appropriate period depends on the record and applicable law; unnecessary sensitive attachments are removed when no longer needed. Providers may retain their own records under their applicable terms and legal obligations.
You may contact cpglobaldynamics@gmail.com to ask about, access, correct or request deletion of information relating to you. Where applicable law provides them, you may also have rights to portability, restriction, objection and withdrawal of consent, subject to lawful exceptions. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests where that right applies. We may need proportionate information to verify the request, but do not ask for a password or full payment-card number. Requests about Gumroad's independently controlled information should also use its privacy channels.
Where EU/UK data-protection law applies, product/support processing may rely on contractual necessity, applicable legal obligations, legitimate interests in secure operations and dispute handling, or consent for a genuinely optional activity as appropriate to the specific processing. You can complain to the relevant supervisory authority, including the UK ICO where applicable. Information may be processed in the United States or other provider locations. Contact us for details about the processing relevant to your request and any applicable international-transfer protections.
Browser signals and changes
The current Motion Lab page code does not change its functional preference storage in response to a browser Do Not Track signal. Gumroad and hosting/email services have separate controls and practices. This statement does not replace any legally required treatment of an applicable opt-out preference signal.
We identify material changes through an updated notice date and, where appropriate, an additional notice. A policy update does not itself authorize a new incompatible use of personal information.
