History Explainer Studio
Purchase & use policies.
These policies apply to the $39 standalone History Explainer Studio pack from CP Global Dynamics. They describe this separate product, its commercial license, support and refund process, and personal-information handling.
Terms of Purchase and Use
Effective: 1 November 2026. Version 1.0.
Product creator and licensor: CP Global Dynamics, 425 North Doheny Drive, Apartment 2, Beverly Hills, California 90210, United States. Product, support and privacy contact: support@makevideoskill.com (alternate: cpglobaldynamics@gmail.com).
What you buy
History Explainer Studio is a standalone downloadable system of instructions, AI skills, templates, editable examples and local rendering helpers for making original illustrated history explainers. Its six skills cover project direction, historical research, story and script design, illustration and continuity, video production, and titles and thumbnails. Codex and Claude Code instructions and supplied example media are included. No purchase of the separate Make Video Skill core toolkit is required. It requires setup and creative direction; it is not a hosted video-generation subscription. Check the listing's included-files and tested-computer requirements before purchase. Your purchase includes the version delivered. Separate products are not automatically included; no particular update schedule or number of new features is promised.
Price, delivery and other costs
The current pack price is US$39, paid once. Applicable taxes and the final total appear at checkout. Gumroad provides checkout, payment processing and digital delivery under its own terms. Gumroad's checkout terms govern that transaction; these terms describe our product and license. Delivery is digital through the purchase confirmation/download link and Gumroad Library where available. Check spam or contact support if the link is missing. No physical item is shipped.
We charge no per-video rendering fee for local rendering. We charge no output royalty. You provide your computer, electricity, internet and storage. AI help and premium media can cost extra. Coding-assistant subscriptions, tokens, credits, premium voices, stock assets and generated human presenters are not included in the pack price. The finished example narration is included. Generating new illustrations and narration is separate from local rendering; you supply permitted media for new subjects.
Setup and compatibility
Use the included Start Here and installation guides. A coding assistant must have access to the extracted local folder and permission to run commands. The documented assistant routes are OpenAI Codex and Claude Code; an ordinary browser-chat file upload is not the tested local installation workflow. The engine uses Node.js 20.9 or later, FFmpeg/FFprobe and Chrome/Chromium with the documented pinned dependencies. Python is not required by the standalone renderer. Tools, assistant accounts and optional model weights are not preinstalled in the ZIP.
Technical testing covers the documented Apple Silicon macOS environment. It does not establish a verified minimum specification, compatibility with every computer, or independent beginner-machine testing. Read the product requirements and included installation guide for specific workflow limits. Windows, Linux and Intel Mac workflows have not been verified. A visual text change does not create new spoken words: new speech requires permitted audio and matching alignment, caption and scene timing. The included skills guide research, writing and production decisions; users should review their drafts and verify historical claims. The renderer does not research, generate images or synthesize a voice by itself. Illustrated scenes and fictional composite characters are identified as reconstructions, rather than documentary evidence.
License and your inputs
The accompanying Commercial License permits the purchasing person or company to create personal and commercial finished videos, including client work. Our original pack source may not be redistributed or resold as another skill, template library or competing hosted pack. Upstream open-source and asset licenses retain their own rights and conditions.
Use only inputs you own or have permission to use. Obtain required permissions for images, voices, likenesses, music and digital replicas. Do not use the pack for deceptive impersonation, false endorsements, unlawful activity or infringement. Study-only reference videos and thumbnails, private voice profiles and reference recordings, credentials, external models and restricted purchased source material are excluded. Buyers supply permitted new illustrations and narration for their own stories. We do not grant rights we do not hold, guarantee an output is unique or copyrightable, or guarantee acceptance by every publishing platform.
Support and refunds
Email support@makevideoskill.com (alternate: cpglobaldynamics@gmail.com) with your order identifier, pack version, operating system and a description of the issue. Product support covers access to supplied files, documented setup and reproducible pack faults. It does not include custom video production, bespoke development, remote computer administration or support for unrelated paid services. We do not promise round-the-clock service or a fixed response time. Do not send passwords, API keys, payment-card details or private footage in an initial request.
No voluntary change-of-mind refunds. See the Refund Policy. This does not remove mandatory consumer cancellation or faulty-content remedies, or Gumroad's authority to issue refunds or handle disputes.
Results, warranties and liability
Examples show directed workflows and selected outputs. We do not promise views, sales, earnings, virality, automatic creative quality, a particular render time or continuous availability of external services. Review your video, captions, sound, facts and rights before publishing. Keep backups before changing your projects or installing optional tools.
To the extent applicable law permits, the pack is provided “as is” and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. These qualifications do not override an express product description or any right, guarantee or remedy that law does not allow us to exclude.
To the extent applicable law permits, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss, lost profits, lost business or lost data arising from use of the pack; our total liability for a claim about the pack is limited to the amount paid for that pack. These limits do not apply to fraud, intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence, death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited, mandatory digital-content remedies, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing requires a consumer to give up a non-waivable right.
Disputes, privacy and changes
Contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem; doing so is not a condition that blocks lawful remedies. California law governs these product terms except where mandatory law gives you greater protection. A consumer retains the courts and protections available under applicable law. We do not require forced arbitration or a class-action waiver.
The Privacy Policy explains our handling of personal information. Gumroad and any assistant/media providers have separate policies. Purchase is not consent to unrelated marketing. Changes to future offers will not silently remove the license, mandatory rights or other expressly granted entitlement attached to an earlier purchase. Keep the policy version supplied with your order.
Commercial License
Effective: 1 November 2026. Version 1.0. Licensor: CP Global Dynamics, contact support@makevideoskill.com (alternate: cpglobaldynamics@gmail.com). Address: 425 North Doheny Drive, Apartment 2, Beverly Hills, California 90210, United States.
Finished videos
After a valid purchase, the purchasing person or company receives a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use and modify our original included pack material for personal and commercial projects, including finished videos for clients, advertising, social media and monetized channels. We charge no per-video royalty. The license continues for the purchased version unless terminated for material breach as described below.
The purchaser's employees and contractors may access the pack solely to work for that purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for limiting access to that purpose. Independent businesses and contractors using it for their own separate businesses need their own license. You may deliver finished rendered videos to clients. You may not transfer the raw reusable pack library or its source rights to a client; agree an appropriately licensed workflow when a client needs editable toolkit source.
Original reusable material
Do not redistribute, share publicly, sublicense or resell our original skill instructions, production tools, reusable character/asset library or a substantially similar template collection as a competing downloadable or hosted tool. Preserve our notices and do not imply that we endorse your video or business. These restrictions concern our original material and do not take away rights independently granted by an upstream license.
Third-party material and generated content
Open-source software, fonts, sounds and other third-party material retain their own licenses. Preserve the included notices and provenance and follow applicable attribution requirements. We do not claim ownership of upstream software or public-domain material. External model weights, browsers, FFmpeg builds and optional services have separate licenses and terms; linking to a setup route does not bundle them into this purchase.
Included finished example narration is a recording for the supplied example and permitted finished-video use. It is not a private speaker profile, reusable clone model or license to imitate an identifiable person. The pack excludes private voice profiles/reference recordings, credentials, study-only reference videos/thumbnails and restricted purchased source material.
Original generated illustrations are supplied subject to the rights the licensor can grant. The license does not guarantee the copyrightability, uniqueness or historical accuracy of any generated image. Review your own uses and inputs.
Your content
You retain the rights you hold in your own inputs. We do not acquire ownership of your projects or outputs through the local renderer. This license grants only rights we can grant in included material. It does not clear other images, voices, music, likenesses or footage you obtain independently.
Material breach and existing rights
For a material breach, we may give written notice and require a remedy where the breach can reasonably be cured. Continued unauthorized redistribution or another uncured material breach can terminate the license to our original pack material. A refund or payment reversal ends the paid license to the extent permitted by law. Non-waivable consumer rights and independent upstream licenses remain unaffected. A later policy edit does not silently remove rights granted to an earlier valid purchase.
Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. The Terms of Purchase and Use and Refund Policy describe the purchase, support and applicable limitations. The terms presented at purchase govern that transaction.
Refund Policy
Effective: 1 November 2026. Version 1.0. CP Global Dynamics. Contact support@makevideoskill.com (alternate: cpglobaldynamics@gmail.com).
No voluntary change-of-mind refunds
History Explainer Studio is a digital download with editable source and immediately accessible files. We do not offer a voluntary refund for a change of mind, unused files, choosing another tool, or deciding that the creative style is not for you. Review the examples, included files, setup requirements and separate costs before purchasing. There is no free trial or money-back guarantee unless a particular offer expressly states otherwise.
Your legal rights still apply
This policy does not exclude refunds, cancellation rights, repair, replacement, price reductions or other remedies required by applicable law. It does not restrict Gumroad's refund or dispute powers, or a payment provider's lawful dispute process. A “no refunds” setting does not override those rights. Statutory withdrawal rights, including those Gumroad honors for eligible Brazilian website purchases, remain available. Where immediate digital delivery requires an express request and acknowledgment concerning withdrawal rights, the checkout must obtain it; this policy alone is not that consent.
Missing, damaged or misdescribed files
If the download fails, files are damaged, or a documented feature does not work in the stated supported environment, email us with your order identifier, pack version, operating system, the steps taken and the error. We will investigate and provide the remedy required in the circumstances, which may include restoring access, correcting files, a price reduction or a refund. We will not make you accept a correction where law gives you a different remedy.
How to request help
Email support@makevideoskill.com (alternate: cpglobaldynamics@gmail.com) or reply to your Gumroad receipt. Explain the problem and include enough information to locate your order. Do not email card numbers, passwords, API keys or sensitive footage. Gumroad handles its own billing, tax, duplicate-payment and platform issues under its policies. Its decisions and statutory rights take priority over a conflicting voluntary policy.
If a purchase is refunded or reversed, stop using the license and remove our licensed source copies to the extent applicable law permits. This does not cancel independent rights you hold under third-party open-source licenses or other non-waivable rights.

Scope and the information we use
This policy covers the History Explainer Studio offer, our website, product delivery records and support. Gumroad and the coding assistants, model hosts and media services you choose have their own privacy practices.
When you purchase through Gumroad, we may receive the buyer/contact and order information Gumroad makes available to creators, such as your name or email, purchased product, order identifier, purchase date and payment/refund status. Gumroad processes the checkout and payment details; do not send complete card details to us. When you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any diagnostic files you choose to send. We use these to deliver the purchase, verify access and updates, answer requests, investigate faults, maintain business records and resolve disputes.
Our website remembers choices such as sound, captions and separate analytics and advertising preferences in your browser. A hosting provider can process connection/security logs, such as IP address, browser details and request time, when serving the website. Gumroad operates its own storefront, checkout, cookies and analytics under its separate policy.
Optional website analytics
If you enable Analytics · PostHog in Privacy choices, we use PostHog's US Cloud service to understand which of these three products people view, which registered demos they deliberately play and watch, and which Gumroad buy links they choose. We send controlled product, video, format, placement and campaign labels, an event time and a random browser-session identifier. We do not send raw page queries, URL fragments, raw referrers, advertising click identifiers, form values, project files, names, email addresses or phone numbers in our analytics events. We do not identify customer accounts or create personal profiles. Autocapture, session replay, heatmaps, surveys and error recording are off.
PostHog necessarily processes connection information, including an IP address, to receive a request. Our project is configured to discard stored client IP data; our manual events also request no GeoIP enrichment. These controls do not make the event data anonymous or remove all provider processing. PostHog's privacy notice and privacy documentation explain its role and controls. We use the events to improve product information and demonstrations, review them for those purposes and remove or de-identify them when no longer needed, subject to applicable legal duties.
After analytics permission, a random analytics identifier is stored for the current browser tab using session storage. Our separate analytics and advertising choices are remembered for up to 180 days. Clearing site storage resets those choices. Analytics permission does not allow advertising, and advertising permission does not allow analytics. Neither service is loaded through this integration before its own permission. Legal, support and creative-editing pages are not measured by this integration. Character Story Studio's own pages are outside this three-product measurement setup.
Advertising measurement is optional and separate from analytics. If you enable Advertising · Meta Pixel and save your choices, we use Meta Pixel to share page visits and clicks on registered Gumroad buy links with Meta to measure and improve advertising. A buy-link click is not a confirmed purchase. Meta may receive your IP address, browser/device details, cookies, page/referrer information, permitted campaign/ad-click identifiers in marketing links and event details, and may combine this with information it holds to personalize and deliver ads. Our manual events do not add your name, email address, phone number or local project files. Automatic advanced matching and automatic events are disabled.
You can browse, watch and purchase with both choices off. Use Privacy choices on the marketing pages to reject either service or withdraw permission. We honor a browser's Global Privacy Control signal by keeping both off and remembering a denial, so turning the signal off does not silently restore an old grant. Turning off a loaded service stops new events, clears accessible tracking storage and reloads the page to unload it. This cannot retract completed requests or delete information a provider has already received. Contact us for privacy requests. See Meta's privacy policy and cookie policy for its processing and controls. You can also use industry ad choices and Your Online Choices.
Your projects and local rendering
The pack's local renderer reads your files on your computer and saves exported files there. It does not require you to upload footage to CP Global Dynamics. We do not automatically receive your video projects, scripts or rendered videos through that renderer.
This does not mean that every assistant or media workflow stays local. A cloud coding assistant may process prompts or files you let it access under its own settings and terms. Installing packages or downloading optional models contacts the relevant providers. Paid generation and external media services process the information you submit to them. Review those providers and your permissions before using confidential or personal material. Do not put API keys or passwords in project files or support emails.
Purposes, legal bases and sharing
Where a law requires a legal basis, we use information as needed to perform the purchase/support relationship, comply with legal duties, pursue legitimate interests in secure delivery, access verification and dispute handling, or act on consent where required. We do not use a purchase as blanket consent to unrelated marketing. You can object to direct marketing or withdraw relevant consent without losing an existing purchase.
We share information as needed with checkout/delivery, hosting, email/support providers, advisers or authorities for the purposes described in this policy, or when you request or authorize it. Optional PostHog analytics and Meta advertising measurement involve sharing the controlled event information described above for their separate purposes when you allow each service. Use Privacy choices to keep that sharing off; we also honor Global Privacy Control. We do not provide support correspondence or your local video project files to Meta through this integration. Providers may process information outside your country; their policies and applicable transfer requirements apply. Gumroad describes its practices at gumroad.com/privacy.
Advertising choices
Open Privacy choices on any marketing page to change this browser's separate analytics and advertising choices or opt out of advertising sharing. Rejecting advertising does not prevent browsing, watching examples or purchasing. If Global Privacy Control is enabled, both optional services stay off. Contact support@makevideoskill.com (alternate cpglobaldynamics@gmail.com) for privacy requests. These controls do not change the separate settings of Gumroad, Meta or PostHog. Return to the product and its Privacy choices control.
This notice covers the separate History Explainer Studio product. The shared website advertising notice also explains our common browser choice.
Retention and security
We keep purchase and entitlement records while needed to provide purchased access/updates and to meet accounting, tax and dispute obligations. We keep support correspondence while needed to resolve requests, diagnose recurring faults or handle related claims. We review records when those purposes end and delete or de-identify information unless retention is required by law. A deletion request can be limited by legal recordkeeping or the need to establish claims.
We use reasonable access controls and take care with business records. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Please report a suspected data problem to the privacy contact and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
Choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of information, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing. California residents can exercise applicable California privacy rights where the relevant law applies. We do not retaliate for a rights request. We may need proportionate information to verify that a request concerns your records; do not send identity documents unless we explain a necessary secure process. Rights have exceptions. Contact us to make a request or complain to the appropriate privacy regulator.
You can clear local site preferences through browser settings. Clearing those preferences may reset sound or caption choices. Use Gumroad's account/privacy tools for records it controls; contact us for records we hold.
Audience and changes
The pack and storefront are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. Do not send us children's personal information. Contact us if you believe such information was provided. We will update this notice when our practices change and identify the new effective date. A material change requiring notice or consent will be handled as applicable law requires.
